    What "Raw" Means

    Each stone keeps the shape it was mined in, so its outline, colour and small natural inclusions vary from ring to ring. Every ring is hand-set in our Chester studio – the photos show a typical piece, and yours will be its own.

    Metals and Sizes

    Sterling silver (925) or gold vermeil, depending on the stone – ruby and turquoise are mainly gold vermeil. Sizes run from UK J½ to R½, depending on the stone. The raw grey diamond ring is a popular alternative engagement ring.

    Complete the Set

    Pair your ring with raw stud earrings in the same stone, or see the faceted solitaire rings if you prefer a polished stone.

    Care

    Raw stones have natural edges, so take your ring off for sport, swimming and cleaning, and store it apart from other pieces.
