Real rubies — one of the world's four precious gemstones — handmade into bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings in our Chester studio. Available in sterling silver, 14K gold filled and rose gold filled. July's birthstone and the traditional Ruby Wedding anniversary stone.
Ruby as July's Birthstone
Ruby has been called the king of gemstones since antiquity. It's the birthstone for July — connected to passion, courage, and the deep emotional energy of both Cancer and Leo. It's also the stone for 40th wedding anniversaries, making it one of the most meaningful gifting stones in the calendar. For the full story on what ruby means and why people wear it, read our Ruby Birthstone Guide.
Our Ruby Jewellery
Every piece in this collection is made with real natural rubies — never synthetic or glass alternatives. The stone's rich red works equally well in silver (cooler, more contemporary) and gold (warmer, more traditional). Care
Ruby scores 9 on the Mohs hardness scale — one of the most durable gemstones. Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or applying perfume and lotion to protect the metal settings. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and store in your Abiza pouch or gift box when not worn.
