Returns and exchange details

Your satisfaction is our priority. We gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations.

We cannot accept Returns for (unless they are faulty):
- Custom or customised orders due to their nature
- Earrings for hygiene reasons.

Conditions of Return:
All items must be returned unworn in their original gift box to qualify for a refund or exchange. Postage and adequate insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. If you return all of your order, a shipping cost of £3.50 for UK, £8.50 for international orders will be applied.

Please allow up to 5 days after we have received your exchange/return to be inspected and processed.

Please keep in mind that all our jewellery is handmade to your specified metal and size choices. Ordering a few pieces to try, keeping the one(s) you like and returning the rest is something we cannot support. We don't stock anything, every piece of jewellery is made only to your requirements. Thank you very much for understanding.



Our aim is to ensure you can fully enjoy your Abiza piece and we are 100% committed to your satisfaction.
As long as usage instructions are followed, we do not expect any problems with our jewellery. However, in exceptional cases when you face a problem, we will fully support you. Please get in touch with us.
We will carefully investigate the issue. If we conclude that it is related to a part or craftsmanship failure, we will either repair or replace it, ensuring it is as good as new, at no additional cost to you. This is valid within 6 MONTHS of purchase.
In case you need any repairs, please contact us. We will do our best to help.


We recommend removing your jewellery when you shower, bathe or engage in heavy exercise particularly in the sea or swimming pools. Avoid direct contacts with chemicals, such as perfumes, creams or any other liquids.

Use a soft, lint free cloth to keep your Sterling Silver, Gold Filled or Gold jewellery. Widely available mini polish pads for gold and silver are brilliant for cleaning.

All pieces should ideally be stored in the original Abiza box. It will keep them tangle free and protected from moisture. If not possible, we suggest to keep them in zip lock bags, in a dark and cool place.

All gemstones should be cleaned using an untreated, dry, soft cloth. Avoid hot water and harsh chemicals. Some gemstones (Ethiopian Opal, top of the list) are very sensitive to moisture since they can absorb water. This may result in a change in colour and flash.

Gemstone bracelets
In our gemstone bracelets, we use a flexible beading wire, tested to withstand 14 pounds (6.4kg) of load. Unless forcefully pulled, it will never break. In case you get your gemstone bracelet caught onto something (watch door handles!), it may not break but the beading wire could get damaged. Very easily noticed as it will feel looser and kinked. We recommend you get in touch with us if you have any doubts or concerns. Making a simple repair at that stage is much easier than repairing after it completely breaks. If broken completely, in most of the cases some beads may be lost!

When will my order ship?

Please check our processing times! We do our best to keep it up to date always. You can find approximate delivery times to various countries under our shipping policy.

How do I customize?

Customization is specific to the piece. In the listing description there will be instructions titled "HOW TO ORDER”.
We always try to make the information very clear in the listings to make ordering as smooth as possible. Any doubts, please contact us.

How can I get in touch with Abiza?

We work Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 16:30 GMT. All messages will be replied the next working day, in the order they have been received. You can reach us via Etsy messages or direct email. However, Etsy messages makes life easier by linking your message to either a product or an order.

How can I send my order as a gift?

All items arrive in a cushioned, black Abiza branded gift box .

Please tick the gift wrap option at the checkout if you want your box tied with a golden ribbon and/or a hand-written gift card added to your order with your personal gift note.

We never include any document with price information inside your package. You can easily print out your VAT receipt on your Etsy orders page, if needed.

Please remember to change the shipping address to receiver's!

I entered a wrong shipping address, what can I do?

Contact us right away! If you give us the correct address, we will create your shipping label accordingly. Please note, when you receive “shipment notification” email from Etsy, it will still show the wrong address, because we can’t change your address recorded on your Etsy order.

If your order has already shipped, we can’t intercept anymore. However, we will give you the necessary info so that you can contact your local postal service for a redirection. Success depends on your postal service. If the package is returned to us, we will reship it to an address of your choice. We will have to charge you the re-shipping cost.

I did not receive my package, what should I do?

Although rare, delays may happen especially in seasonal busy times and due to random custom checks. Unfortunately, this is completely out of our control. We have to wait for 25 working days, until the package is declared as lost. At that point, we either send you a replacement or issue a full refund. All our packages are insured and our promise to you is, we will not let any buyer to incur any loss due to postal problems, unless entered address was incorrect.
If you need your jewellery urgently, please consider express shipping options and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need your jewellery for a specific time or event.

Sizing details

All photos are magnified to show detail.
We take all the measurements carefully, they are all written in close approximations and in clear bullet points style, so you can read easily.
Almost all listings include one photo to show the scale.
Please take a minute to read them and check all images to avoid disappointment. Please remember, our style is elegant and dainty.

Suggestions for Necklaces:
Necklace length very much depends on style and the way you would like to use it, in addition to the height and size of the wearer. We have model photos in most of our listings. If in doubt, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Can you send me a photo of my order before it ships? Can I choose my stone?

Unfortunately, we are a little jewellery studio and we don’t have the manpower to deal with these requests. Thank you for understanding.
However, in case of any particular requests about your jewellery, please leave us a note in the “note to seller" section during checkout and we will do our best to make it happen!
Please remember, we are working with natural stones, uncut most of the time. Please try to limit your specification to one attribute.
If a photo is a must for you, then please request a custom order. In this case please make a custom order request. We will send you photos of a selection of stones to choose from. Custom charges will apply and it might take longer to dispatch.


- What is Gold Filled?
It is a great economical alternative to solid gold. An actual layer of gold is pressure bonded to another metal. GF is not to be confused with gold plating as it literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. GF is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colours. As a matter of fact, anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled.

All our jewellery is 100% nickel free!

- Are you using genuine gemstones?
Yes. All our gemstones are genuine. We may have a few exceptions. In those cases, it is clearly stated in the listing

- Are your materials sourced Ethically?
Absolutely yes! We put extra effort in ensuring we keep it that way.
