Real black tourmaline beads, hand-strung on a fine strand with scattered metal spacer beads — a necklace that works as protection and as jewellery in equal measure. The 2.9–3mm diamond-cut beads catch light across their facets and give the strand a quiet luminosity that most black stones don't. Available in three lengths and three finishes, made to order in our Chester studio.

Which finish?
Sterling silver keeps the palette cool and clean — the contrast between the black tourmaline and the silver spacers is crisp and contemporary. The 14K gold filled version adds warmth without competing with the stone. Rose gold filled sits between the two, softer and slightly warmer than yellow gold, particularly effective at bringing out the subtle depth in the tourmaline's surface. The stone — black tourmaline
Black tourmaline is a naturally opaque mineral with a jet-black colour and subtle striations along the crystal that distinguish real tourmaline from dyed alternatives. It's one of October's birthstones alongside opal, and one of the most widely worn stones in crystal healing — traditionally associated with protection, grounding, and the root chakra. Black tourmaline is a hard, durable stone. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, and lotion to protect the metal finish and maintain the strand. Store in your Abiza pouch or gift box when not worn. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear.
