Our Fine Bracelets collection — premium pieces handmade in our Chester studio with solid 925 sterling silver and 14K gold-filled materials, set with hand-cut, faceted, ombré and multi-stone designs.
Built differently. Built to last. These are the pieces we make for customers who understand the difference between solid metals and plating, between machine-cut and hand-cut, between something to wear for a season and something to wear for years. A meaningful investment for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, or the considered self-purchase you've been promising yourself.
What Makes a Bracelet "Fine"?
"Fine jewellery" has a specific meaning in the trade — it refers to pieces made in solid precious metals, not plated. Every bracelet in this collection is solid 925 sterling silver, 14K gold-filled or 14K rose gold-filled throughout. No plating to wear off, no base metals underneath. Combined with carefully selected stones and premium finishing techniques, these are the pieces designed to last.
The Materials
- Solid 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver throughout the piece, not just on the surface. With proper care, will last indefinitely.
- 14K gold-filled — a thick bonded layer of solid 14K gold (over 100 times thicker than gold plating), permanently fused to a brass core. Won't tarnish, fade or wear off. Often mistaken for solid gold.
- 14K rose gold-filled — same construction as gold-filled, in a warmer pink-gold finish.
- Hand-cut, faceted or ombré gemstones — premium finishing that catches light differently from standard machine-cut beads.
The Stones
Where our slider and stacking ranges focus on accessible, everyday gemstones, our Fine collection features the more considered choices:
- Ombré pieces — gradient-cut stones moving from deep to soft hues across the bracelet, hand-strung to create the effect
- Hand-cut faceted stones — typically Mozambique-sourced for ruby and garnet, where the cut catches more light than standard rondelles
- Multi-stone blends — like our Genuine Chakra bracelet, hand-strung with the seven traditional chakra stones (garnet, carnelian, citrine, peridot, aquamarine, lapis lazuli and amethyst) in solid materials
- Raw natural diamonds — uncut diamonds in their organic crystal form, no two pieces alike
Why Solid Materials Cost More
Solid 925 sterling silver costs several times more per gram than the stainless steel + PVD plating in our slider range. 14K gold-filled is more expensive again. That price difference is real material cost, not markup — and it buys you something tangible:
- Longevity — solid metal lasts indefinitely with proper care; plating, even high-quality 18K PVD, has a finite life of typically 1–3 years of daily wear before showing it
- Craftsmanship cost — Fine pieces use smaller beads strung in greater number, with hand-set spacers and finishing details that take time
Care
Solid silver and gold-filled are far more durable than plated jewellery, but they reward gentle care. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. Avoid prolonged contact with chlorinated water, perfume and lotion. With basic care, these bracelets will outlast trends, fashion cycles and most of the rest of your jewellery box.
Sizing
Most Fine bracelets feature an adjustable extender chain (typically 6.5" + 1.5"), fitting wrists from approximately 16.5cm to 20cm. To measure your wrist: wrap a tape measure snugly around the wrist bone and read the size where it meets.
