Our Stacking Bracelets collection — dainty, hand-strung pieces in solid 925 sterling silver and 14K gold-filled, designed to be worn alone, layered with one or two others, or built into a meaningful stack of crystals on your wrist.
Made differently from our slider range. Smaller beads (typically 2.5–3mm), solid metal spacers, finer chains, and built in solid materials throughout — not plated. Each piece is hand-strung in our Chester studio, finished with an adjustable extender chain, and made to last for years rather than seasons.
About Our Stacking Bracelets
Where our slider range is built for everyday gifting and durability, our stacking range is built for the customer who wants to wear and collect crystals over time. Every piece is solid 925 sterling silver, 14K gold-filled or 14K rose gold-filled — solid metal throughout, not plating that wears off. Hand-strung with smaller, more refined beads (typically 2.5–3mm), finished with scattered metal spacers and an adjustable extender chain.
Why Solid Materials Matter
Solid 925 sterling silver costs several times more per gram than plated steel. 14K gold-filled is more expensive again. The price difference buys you something tangible:
- Longevity — solid metal lasts indefinitely with basic care; plating, even high-quality 18K PVD, has a finite life
- 14K gold-filled is a thick bonded layer of solid 14K gold (over 100 times thicker than gold plating), permanently fused — won't tarnish, fade or wear off
- Layered safely — solid metals against the skin all day every day are kinder than mixed-base alternatives over time
- Hold their value — stacking bracelets become a small jewellery wardrobe you build over time, not pieces you replace each year
The Art of Stacking
A good crystal stack tells a quiet personal story. There are no rules, but a few combinations that tend to work beautifully together:
- Birthstone + intention — your birth month stone paired with a stone for what you're working towards (citrine for abundance, rose quartz for self-love, amethyst for calm)
- Heart chakra trio — rose quartz, rhodonite and emerald (or peridot) for compassion, healing and steady warmth
- Confidence stack — citrine, carnelian and tiger eye for joy, courage and clear focus
- Calm stack — amethyst, clear quartz, prehnite and labradorite for sleep, clarity and gentle reset
- Mix metals on purpose — gold-filled and sterling silver layered together is a deliberate, elevated look, not a mistake
Most stacks work best at 3–5 pieces. Start with one, add another for an occasion, build the rest over time.
Sizing
Most stacking bracelets in this collection measure 6.5" with a 1.5" extender (16.5cm with 3.5cm extender), fitting wrists from approximately 16.5cm to 20cm comfortably. To measure your wrist: wrap a tape measure snugly around the wrist bone and read the size where it meets.
Care
Solid sterling silver and 14K gold-filled are far more durable than plated jewellery, but they reward gentle care. Wipe with a soft cloth after wear. Avoid prolonged contact with chlorinated water, perfume and lotion. With basic care, these bracelets will outlast trends and fashion cycles.
