What makes raw crystal jewellery different

Polished and faceted stones are shaped to a standard — every bead or cabochon cut to a consistent size and finish. Raw crystals aren't. Each pendant is the stone as it came from the ground: its original shape, its natural inclusions, its particular colour distribution. No two pieces look the same, which is why raw crystal jewellery feels personal in a way that standardised stones don't.

    The stones

Labradorite — the Stone of Magic. Dark at first, then iridescent blue-green flashes as the angle changes. Each pendant has its own flash: some lead with vivid blue, others with gold or green. Associated with transformation, intuition, and creative drive. Read the full labradorite meaning guide.

Moonstone — June's birthstone. Translucent and softly luminous, with the adularescent glow that gives the stone its name. Associated with new beginnings, intuition, and emotional balance. Read the full moonstone meaning guide.

Amethyst — February's birthstone. Purple crystalline structure visible in raw form, with natural termination points intact. Associated with calm, clarity, and inner peace.

Ruby — July's birthstone in its unpolished form. Rich red with natural inclusions that would typically be cut away in a faceted stone. Associated with passion, courage, and vital energy. Read the full ruby meaning guide.

Emerald — May's birthstone. Green, earthy, and distinctly natural in raw form — visible crystal structure and the variegated texture that polished emerald never shows. Associated with renewal, love, and growth.

Tanzanite — a rare December birthstone found only near Mount Kilimanjaro. Violet-blue tones, deeply saturated. Associated with intuition, spiritual insight, and creative awakening.

    Sizing and finish

Each pendant hangs from a fine beaded chain, available in three lengths. Sterling silver, 14K gold filled, and rose gold filled — the finish covers the cap and chain that hold the stone, not the stone itself. Raw stone sizes naturally vary; individual product pages list the specific dimensions for each piece. Not sure which chain length suits you? Read our necklace length guide.

    Care

Raw stones are more porous than polished equivalents. Remove before showering, swimming, or applying perfume and lotion. Wipe the stone with a soft dry cloth — no abrasives, no ultrasonic cleaners. Store in the Abiza pouch when not worn.
