Choosing the right necklace length can make all the difference to how your jewellery sits and feels. Our visual guide shows the four most popular lengths on an average neckline so you can easily see where each one falls:

14" – Choker Length
Sits closely around the base of the neck. Perfect for a snug, elegant fit or for layering with longer pieces. -
16" – Classic Short Necklace
Falls just below the collarbone on most people. A timeless everyday length and ideal for small pendants. -
18" – Standard Pendant Length
Rests on the upper chest. This is our most popular and versatile length for gifting, flattering most necklines. -
20" – Longer, Relaxed Length
Sits a little lower on the chest for an effortlessly elegant look. Great for creating a layered style or adding extra movement.
Tip: Everyone’s proportions are a little different. If you're choosing a gift, 18" is the safest all-round option—beautiful on its own and easy to layer with other pieces.

The Design
One ring charm holding a birthstone for every person who matters, with their names engraved alongside. The stones sit together rather than in a row, so the piece reads as a family rather than a list — dainty enough for daily wear, and clear enough that she can pick out each child at a glance.
How the Personalisation Works
Add up to 30 characters in the personalisation box — names, a short message, a quote or Roman numerals — and choose a birthstone for each. There are two fonts: Font 1 comes in Capitalised Case, Font 2 in ALL CAPITALS. The font chart in the product images shows both.
The length you choose is the total chain length including the names, so a 16" selection arrives as chain plus names measuring 16" / 40cm. Every piece comes with a 1" extension chain for the perfect fit.

How to Order
- Enter your names, message, quote or Roman numerals in the personalisation box — up to 30 characters
- Choose your font: Font 1 (Capitalised Case) or Font 2 (ALL CAPITALS)
- Select a birthstone for each name
- Choose your finish — silver or 18K gold plated — and your chain length
- Tick the gift wrap option for a gift box and a handwritten gift card
Our designers start on your order as soon as it is placed, so changes or cancellations requested more than an hour after ordering cannot be guaranteed — the piece may already be in production. Because it is made for you, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on customised pieces.
Turnaround
Made to order, with a standard turnaround of around 3 business days. Add Rush My Order for £10 and your piece is made and shipped within 1 business day. Express shipping is available at checkout — it speeds up delivery, not production, so pair the two if you are close to a date.
Care
Water, sweat and tarnish resistant, and safe for daily wear. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear and avoid prolonged contact with perfume, lotion and chlorinated water to keep the engraving crisp and the birthstones bright.

Because each piece is personalised, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges unless there is a fault on our end. If something isn't right, contact us straight away and we'll put it right.
