Necklace Size Guide
Choose your length on the product page. Most of our necklaces come in 14" to 22", with an extender chain for a little extra adjustment.

14" (35cm) – choker
Sits close around the base of the neck. -
16" (40cm) – collarbone
Falls just below the collarbone. Ideal for small pendants and initials. -
18" (45cm) – our most popular
Rests on the upper chest. The safest choice for a gift. -
20" (50cm) – relaxed
Sits a little lower, and is lovely for layering. -
22" (56cm) – longer
Mid-chest, for layering or a longer look.
In-between lengths (15", 17", 19" and 21") are available too. Most necklaces come with a 1" (2.5cm) extender, and some with 2" (5cm) – the product details say which.
How to measure: put a piece of string around your neck where you'd like the necklace to sit, then measure it flat.
Layering tip: choose lengths about 2" apart so each necklace sits on its own.

Your photo, redrawn by hand as line art and engraved to keep.
Send us the picture and we draw it out as fine line art — the pose, the faces, the way they were leaning into each other — then engrave it onto a polished 21mm disc. It is not a photo printed onto metal that fades. It is a drawing of your photo, cut into the surface, and it will look the same in ten years.

Silver, 18K gold or 18K rose gold, plated over surgical-grade stainless steel. The plating is PVD, so it holds its colour through daily wear.

Which Photo Works Best
- Good light and a sharp image. A clear phone photo is fine; a dark or blurred one is not.
- Faces reasonably close together and not too small in the frame — a 21mm disc is about the size of a 5p piece, so detail has to earn its place.
- Up to four people or pets. More than that and the faces get too small to read once engraved.
- Busy backgrounds are not a problem — we draw the subject, not the background.
- If you want something specific kept or left out, tell us when you order and we will do our best. If it cannot be done we will say so straight away rather than guess.
Seeing It Before We Engrave
Each drawing is done by hand, so we cannot show a preview as standard. If you would like to see it first, add the line art digital file option when you order (£5): you get one round of changes, and the artwork is emailed to you afterwards as a file you can print or use as a wallpaper.
Engrave the Reverse
The back of the disc can carry a name, a date or a short message. Choose the double-sided option and leave the text for both sides.
Which Length?
Choose from 14" to 22" in the personalisation box. 14–16" sits high on the neck as a choker; 18" is the everyday length and the one most people wear; 20–22" sits lower on the chest and layers well. Buying it as a gift and not sure? 18" suits most people. Our necklace length guide has the measurements.

The plating is water and tarnish resistant, so everyday wear is no problem.
