Necklace Size Guide
Choose your length on the product page. Most of our necklaces come in 14" to 22", with an extender chain for a little extra adjustment.

14" (35cm) – choker
Sits close around the base of the neck. -
16" (40cm) – collarbone
Falls just below the collarbone. Ideal for small pendants and initials. -
18" (45cm) – our most popular
Rests on the upper chest. The safest choice for a gift. -
20" (50cm) – relaxed
Sits a little lower, and is lovely for layering. -
22" (56cm) – longer
Mid-chest, for layering or a longer look.
In-between lengths (15", 17", 19" and 21") are available too. Most necklaces come with a 1" (2.5cm) extender, and some with 2" (5cm) – the product details say which.
How to measure: put a piece of string around your neck where you'd like the necklace to sit, then measure it flat.
Layering tip: choose lengths about 2" apart so each necklace sits on its own.

How to Send Us the Writing
- Photograph the writing flat, in good light, with the paper filling the frame and no shadow across it. A phone camera is fine.
- Darker ink on plain paper traces best. Faint pencil and shiny or lined paper are harder, though we can usually work with them.
- Upload the photo in the personalisation box, then tell us which part you want engraved if the note contains more than you need.
- Short works best on a 21mm disc — a name, a few words, a signature. We will tell you if what you have sent will be too small to read once engraved, before we make anything.
- For engraving on the reverse as well, choose the double-sided option and leave the text for both sides.
Signatures and Last Notes
A good share of these are memorial pieces — a signature from a card, the last note someone left on the kitchen table, a few words in a letter. Those orders get handled carefully, and if the writing is faint or the paper is creased we will tell you honestly what we can get out of it rather than guess. If the original is irreplaceable, photograph it rather than sending it.
Which Length?
Choose from 14" to 20", each with a 2" extender so you can wear it up to 2" longer. 14–16" sits high on the neck as a choker; 18" is the everyday length and the one most people wear; 20" sits lower on the chest and suits a wider neck or a layered look. Care
The plating is water and tarnish resistant, so everyday wear is no problem. To keep the shine for longer, take it off before swimming, saunas or applying perfume and lotion, and store it in your Abiza pouch when it is not on.
