A paperclip chain, and the names he would actually wear.
Slim plates set into a heavier paperclip link, engraved with the names that matter — his children, his partner, a date he keeps. Nothing sentimental on the outside: at arm's length it reads as a plain chain bracelet, and you only see the engraving close up. It sits well on its own or next to a watch.

Silver, 18K gold or rose gold, plated over surgical-grade stainless steel. The plating is PVD, so it holds its colour through daily wear.

One Plate, Two, or None
Choose under How Many Nameplates?:
- No Nameplate — the plain paperclip chain on its own, with nothing engraved. A straightforward men's chain bracelet if that is all he wants.
- 1 Nameplate — one plate, up to 10 characters. Adds £5.
- 2 Nameplates — two plates, 10 characters each, so two names sit side by side. Adds £10.
Ten characters is a first name, not a full one. The font is shown in the chart in the product images.
Which Size?
Eight lengths, from 5.5" to 9", each with a 1" extension chain — a wider range than most bracelets carry, which is the point on a men's piece. Measure round the wrist bone with a tape measure and add about half an inch for comfort; if you are buying as a gift and have no measurement, 8" fits most adult men, and the extender covers the rest.
What Men Put On It
Most of these go out with children's names — one plate each for two, or one plate and a date. After that it is a partner's name, a surname, or a year that means something. Initials work when a name will not fit. Nothing on it says what it is, which is why men wear it.
Care
The plating is water and tarnish resistant, so everyday wear is no problem. To keep the shine for longer, take it off before swimming, saunas or applying perfume and lotion, and store it in its pouch when it is not on.
