Necklace Size Guide
Choose your length on the product page. Most of our necklaces come in 14" to 22", with an extender chain for a little extra adjustment.

14" (35cm) – choker
Sits close around the base of the neck. -
16" (40cm) – collarbone
Falls just below the collarbone. Ideal for small pendants and initials. -
18" (45cm) – our most popular
Rests on the upper chest. The safest choice for a gift. -
20" (50cm) – relaxed
Sits a little lower, and is lovely for layering. -
22" (56cm) – longer
Mid-chest, for layering or a longer look.
In-between lengths (15", 17", 19" and 21") are available too. Most necklaces come with a 1" (2.5cm) extender, and some with 2" (5cm) – the product details say which.
How to measure: put a piece of string around your neck where you'd like the necklace to sit, then measure it flat.
Layering tip: choose lengths about 2" apart so each necklace sits on its own.

A flat chain that lies smooth against the skin
The herringbone — also called a snake chain — is woven from tiny flat links that sit edge to edge, so it reads as one continuous ribbon rather than a chain. At 4mm it is wide enough to catch the light and narrow enough to wear every day, on its own or layered under a pendant.
Three Finishes, One Design
Choose 18K gold plated, 18K rose gold plated or silver. All three are PVD-plated over premium surgical-grade stainless steel, which is why the colour holds: the necklace is water, sweat and tarnish resistant, so it can stay on through showers, workouts and washing up without turning.

How to Wear It
A herringbone sits flat against the skin, so it works best on its own or as the shortest chain in a layer — give it room and let a longer pendant hang below it. That is how it is styled in the photographs, worn above our Big Baroque Pearl Necklace. Worth knowing: flat chains of this kind kink if they are twisted or folded, so store it lying flat or loosely coiled rather than knotted in a jewellery box. Care
The plating is water and tarnish resistant, so everyday wear is no problem. To keep the shine for longer, take it off before swimming, saunas or applying perfume and lotion, and store it flat in your Abiza pouch when it is not on.
