Two earrings in one. The baroque pearl drops unclip, so the same pair is a chunky 22mm hoop on its own and a 48mm pearl drop when you want the occasion version. In 18K gold, 18K rose gold or silver.
The pearls are faux baroque pearls — man-made rather than farmed, and nothing comes from a shellfish. Because they are moulded, the pair you receive matches the photographs exactly, with none of the size and shape variation a real pearl brings. Two Ways To Wear Them
With the pearls on they hang to 48mm and read as evening earrings — weddings, parties, anywhere a plain hoop would be too casual. With the pearls off you are left with a chunky 22mm hoop, 5mm thick, that goes with everything. Two pairs in one box, and the pearls keep in the pouch between wears.

Why Baroque Rather Than Round
A perfectly round pearl reads formal and a little traditional. The baroque shape is deliberately uneven, so it catches light from more angles and sits far more easily with a plain shirt than a classic round drop would. It is the shape that has carried the pearl back into everyday jewellery over the last few years.
For a Wedding
These work as bridal or bridesmaid earrings without the bridal price, and because the pearls are man-made every pair matches — useful if you are buying several for bridesmaids and want them identical. The pearls go on for the day and come off afterwards, so the hoops get worn long after the wedding rather than living in a drawer.

Care
The steel handles water and sweat, but take the pearl drops off before swimming or showering and avoid spraying perfume or hairspray directly onto them — faux pearls have a surface coating that scent and alcohol dull over time.
