How to measure your ring size at home
You don't need a ring sizer to get a reliable measurement. Two methods work well — pick whichever is easier with what you have to hand.
Method 1 — Measure a ring you already own
Find a ring that fits the right finger comfortably. Lay it flat and measure the inside diameter (edge to edge across the inside of the band) in millimetres using a ruler. Match that measurement to the chart above to find your size.
This is the most accurate method if you already have a well-fitting ring to copy.
Method 2 — Use a piece of string
- Take a piece of string, ribbon or thin paper strip.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to size.
- Mark where it overlaps with a pen.
- Lay the string flat and measure the length

Real raw peridot, hand-picked and set in four claws
An uncut peridot crystal sits at the centre of this ring, set in a four-claw mount on a dainty 2mm band. Each stone is genuine natural peridot from Arizona — chosen for its clear green colour and character. Because these are raw crystals rather than faceted stones, no two are alike: size, shape and colour vary from ring to ring, and small inclusions and tiny black speckles are part of a real uncut peridot's character, not a flaw. Stones are typically 7–11mm across, most around 8–9mm.
An August Birthstone Ring with Meaning
Peridot is the traditional August birthstone and a classic heart-chakra stone. On its crystal information card it's known as the Confidence Booster — associated with love, happiness, joy, prosperity and reducing stress. Materials and Finishes
Available in two finishes: 925 Sterling Silver and 18K Gold Vermeil. Vermeil is real gold plating — a minimum 2.5-micron layer of 18K gold bonded to a solid sterling silver base, to the legal UK standard. It's heavy plating, designed to last with proper care, but it is plated rather than solid gold — the Care notes below protect the colour and finish over time.
The stone is a genuine untreated raw peridot from Arizona, set by hand in a four-claw mount so each unique crystal sits securely on the 2mm band.
Sizing
Available in UK ring sizes J½, L½, N½, P½ and R½ — equivalent to US sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. If you're not sure of your size, send us a message before ordering and we'll help you find the right fit.

Care
Vermeil is heavy real-gold plating over solid sterling silver — long-lasting when looked after, but it is plated rather than solid gold, so a little care goes a long way:
- Take it off before showering, swimming or bathing — especially in chlorinated pools, hot tubs, saltwater or hot water.
- Keep it away from perfume, lotions, hair products, sun cream and household cleaning products.
- Put your jewellery on last when getting ready, and take it off first when winding down.
- Store it in your Abiza box when not worn, ideally away from other jewellery so the band doesn't scratch.
- Raw peridot is a natural crystal — softer than a faceted stone, so the same notes protect the stone from chipping.
