The third eye chakra — Ajna in Sanskrit — is the sixth of the seven main chakras. Located at the centre of the forehead between the eyebrows, it governs intuition, perception, inner vision, and the ability to see beyond the surface of things. When Ajna is balanced, you trust your instincts, see situations clearly, and feel connected to a deeper understanding of the world. When it's blocked, confusion, indecision, and a disconnect from your own knowing tend to follow. The traditional colour is indigo — a deep, dark blue-purple.
