Choosing the right necklace length can make all the difference to how your jewellery sits and feels. Our visual guide shows the four most popular lengths on an average neckline so you can easily see where each one falls:

Tip: Everyone’s proportions are a little different. If you're choosing a gift, 18" is the safest all-round option—beautiful on its own and easy to layer with other pieces.

A 6mm labradorite cabochon sits at the heart of a 20mm sun pendant — raised sun rays radiating from the centre, framed by a textured outer rim. Labradorite is celebrated for its famous flash of iridescent blue, gold or green — a phenomenon called labradorescence — that drifts across the stone as it catches the light. About Labradorite
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral, first identified in the 1770s on the Labrador peninsula of Canada — from which it takes its name. What makes labradorite extraordinary is its labradorescence: a flash of iridescent blue, gold or green that appears only when the stone is turned in light, caused by the way light reflects between thin internal layers of the mineral. Long worn for its connection to magic, transformation and protection, labradorite is traditionally associated with all three upper chakras (third eye, throat and crown). Care
